Starts climbing within two miles, sweet single track, with switch backs leads to a rolling trail below top of the ridge. Switch backs drop you down to the fire road at the west end which is 7 miles, where you can continue on to Indian Valley at another 7 miles
From Downieville, cross bridge between pizza shop and the gas station. Second right will take you to a parking lot at the end of the road
